KOKRAJHAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Chirang Narendra Kumar Shah on Thursday chaired a meeting held with the team members of State Common Review Mission (SCRM) who visited the district for supervision and monitoring of various programmes of the Health Department in the conference hall of Deputy commissioner's office at Kajalgaon. The meeting discussed the improvement and strengthening of the community health services in the district.
In the meeting, the SCRM team briefed about their feedback in regard to their supportive supervision and monitoring during their visit to different health facility centres of the district. They also provided valuable information about the state strategies for achieving better health outcomes.
Earlier, the SCRM team members visited various health facilities, communities and interacted with the Field Level Workers (FLW) and other service providers to understand the status of programmes being implemented in the district. The SCRM team led by Dr. Bidisha Hazarika included Dr. Bobbyma Sarma, Dr. Ramesh Bhatta, Abani Kr. Borah, Jintumoni Nath, Arundhuti Gogoi, Gobinda Baruah and Apurva Das.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chirang (Health), Khanindra Das, Joint Director of District Health Services Dr. Ratul Chandra Bordoloi, and other health officials of the district.
