CM Sarma to Hand Over Appointment Letters to 342 Polytechnic Lecturers Today

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will distribute appointment letters to 342 newly recruited lecturers for government polytechnic institutes across the state at a ceremony scheduled at the GMCH auditorium in Guwahati today.

This recruitment includes lecturers for both technical and non-technical subjects and is part of a broader push by the state government to enhance the quality of technical education. The candidates were selected through a transparent, merit-based process, underscoring the government’s commitment to fair and efficient hiring practices.

The Chief Minister has consistently highlighted the importance of a robust educational system, particularly in technical education, as a key driver for skill development and employment creation in Assam.
