College of Education, Nagaon Hosts International Lecture on ‘Sustainable Lifestyle in Youth’

College of Education, Nagaon recently hosted an international lecture on ‘Sustainable Lifestyle in Youth’ focusing on UNESCO’s physical education guidelines.

NAGAON: College of Education, Nagaon, organized an international lecture programme on ‘Sustainable Lifestyle in Youth: Implementing UNESCO’s quality physical education guidelines’ a couple of days back at Dr Bhupen Hazarika Auditorium, College of Education, Nagaon here.

Dr Dilshad Ahmed, BPE, MPED, CSJ, MPhil, PhD (India), MS (USA), Post-doc (Macau), Post-doc (Canada), Assistant Professor in Physical Education Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University, AI Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, attended the programme as the resource person. The International lecture programme was chaired by Professor Jogen Chandra Kalita, Professor of Zoology Department, Gauhati University, Former Dean of Faculty of Science GU, member, College NAAC mentoring Committee, Government of Assam, and the Chief Academic Advisor of College of Education, Assam. The lecture programme was conducted using a combination of presentation and group discussion. Participants were encouraged to ask questions throughout the lecture session. The lecture programme was a grand success and the participants reported a high level of satisfaction with the content and delivery.

On Monday, again Dr Dilshad Ahmed conducted an interaction session on ‘Academic Integrity and Plagiarism.’ The session was organized by IQAC, College of Education, Nagaon, and attended by the faculty members and MEd trainees. The objective of the session was to raise awareness about the importance of academic integrity and consequences of plagiarism. The session was highly appreciated by the participants.
