BONGAIGAON: Ojagaran Basumatary, Commandant of 8th APBn , Abhayapuri, tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
After declaration of the result, panic prevailed in Bongaigaon district administration. The affected Commandant had participated in a video conference at the DC's office, Bongaigaon where several high profile police officers, including DIG, Eastern Command, Bongaigaon and Additional SP, Bongaigaon had taken part.
Talking to media persons, State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Phani Bhusan Choudhury, said that social distancing was maintained during this video conference.
