MORIGAON: A complaint was filed against Maharashtra MLA Baburao Kadu at Morigaon Police Station. The complaint was filed seeking legal action against Maharashtra Prahar Janashakti Dal MLA Prakash Baburao Kadu for his remarks regarding Assamese people and dogs during the recent Maharashtra Assembly session. The charges were filed by the chief advisor of MASS as well as the former president of Morigaon District Sahitya Sabha, Bubumoni Goswami. The MLA’s remarks in the Maharashtra Assembly are deliberate and untrue. His such untrue remarks will spread wrong message about Assam and could destroy harmony between the people of the two states and create communal hatred. The complaint also alleged that such remarks would harm the tourism and hotel business in Assam.
