JORHAT, Sept 20: A cyclist was run over by a speeding truck on the busy Lichubari-AAU road near the Assam Agricultural University main gate on Tuesday night under Lichubari outpost in Jorhat district. The victim was identified as Pradip Gogoiu (30). He hailed from Habungia gaon under Rowriah outpost and was a master roll worker in SIRD-Extension Centre, Jorhat. Both the cyclist and the truck were moving in the same direction towards Jail Road, said police sources.
