TINSUKIA: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) in its recent order de-affiliated 105 private/venture schools with effect from March 31, 2023 for their dismal performance ranging pass percentage from 0-10. These schools will not be able to register any student of class IX with effect from April 1, 2023.Out of these schools, Tinsukia district figured highest with 9 schools.
The de-affiliated schools in Tinsukia district are Balijan Borjan High School (Digboi), Da Pathar High School (Kakopathar), Dr Rajendra Prasad HE School (Doomdooma), Sadiya Simanta Janajati High School (Chapakhowa Sadiya), Sishu Vidya Mandir High School (Doomdooma), Doomdooma Adarsha Vidyapith (Doomdooma), Na-Gaon Gakhirbheti High School (Gakhirbheti), Nokhroy Kachssona High School (Nokhroy TE Tinsukia) and Rupai Tea Estate High School (Rupai TE).
