Joysagar: A pall of gloom has engulfed Sivasagar following the demise of noted singer Deepali Borthakur.
The singer was born in Nilamoni Tea Estate in Sonari subdivision in Sivasagar district on January 30, 1941. Artistes, social and cultural organizations of Sivasagar have condoled her death.
