DEMOW: Under the leadership of president Gautam Borah and general secretary Plabon Buragohain, the Demow Regional Students' Union submitted a memorandum to the Chief Manager of VSD Infrastructure under GDCL on Tuesday.
In the memorandum, the Demow Regional Students' Union stated that the condition of the NH-37 road in Demow Chariali was deplorable. There were potholes on the road and after a heavy shower, people face a lot of problems using this road. Small and big vehicles pass through Demow Chariali due to which the road was in a poor condition.
Under GDCL and under the aegis of VSD Infrastructure Company, the four-lane National Highway works are going on. In the memorandum, the Demow Regional Students' Union demanded the company to repair the road within 10 days.
