DIBRUGARH: A meeting regarding preparedness for G-20 meeting was held in Dibrugarh on Wednesday. The G-20 meeting will be held in Dibrugarh from March 24 to March 25, 2023. The meeting was chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources, Department and State Chief Coordinator of G-20, Syedain Abbasi and Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu, Dibrugarh Superintendent of Police Shwetank Mishra, ADC, Sanghamitra Baruah, departmental officers concerned, stakeholders and other representatives were also present during the meeting.
The State Chief Coordinator of G-20 was thoroughly explained about the route of the delegates starting from Mohanbari Airport to the various meeting places where delegates will hold their meetings. The State chief coordinator of G-20 emphasized painting and required renovation and branding of the Bogibeel bridge and the other roads of the route.
He further added that there should be no traffic jams or any kind of mess and there should be an appropriate number of dustbins provided so that no littering takes place and cleanliness should always be maintained. Further uninterrupted supply of electricity and internet should be arranged as it will be the primary requirement of the delegates during their visit in Dibrugarh.
