Doctor and two nurses of Borthakur Nursing Home test positive in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Dr. Arindam Borthakur of Borthakur Nursing Home in Tinsukia tested COVID-19 positive on Tuesday along with his two staff nurses. As most of the preferred nursing homes of the district are located in Tinsukia, patients are facing an ordeal as several nursing homes allegedly denied admission to many people and patients with mild temperature were not allowed to enter hospital premises.

Meanwhile, 69 cases were detected on Tuesday, of which 67 persons were infected by community transmission. Thus, the number of cases in Tinsukia district has risen to 632.
