DEMOW: Doctor's Day was celebrated in Sivasagar Civil (COVID) Hospital on Wednesday. On the occasion, the Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA) Sivasagar unit felicitated the COVID warriors who were doing duty in the COVID isolation ward. They were felicitated with a phulam gamosa and a certificate by AMSA Sivasagar unit in the hospital premises. In the programme, the doctors appealed to create awareness among the people regarding wearing masks, hand washing and maintaining social distancing. In the programme, Dr Rupam Borkotoky, vice-president of AMSA central committee, Dr Rajib Baruah, Superintendent of Sivasagar Civil Hospital, along with all the doctors, nurses and other staff of Sivasagar Civil Hospital were present.
