Assam: Doctors Entrusted with Tele-consultation for COVID Patients in Chirang District

KOKRAJHAR: As per the order of the Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Assam, the Chirang district administration has entrusted as many as 21 doctors working in the district with tele-consultation, call centre services round-the-clock for covid patients.

They have been asked to monitor the health conditions of the COVID-19 patients in home isolation in particular and public in general in Chirang district. "These doctors will attend all call of covid patients as and when the case is forwarded to them from the district call centre, without fail. The doctor concerned is directed to tie up with the nearest BPHC/SD/MSD for immediate treatment if any information of critical patients are received from the call centre services during his/her duty period as assigned to him/her," the order said.

These doctors have been asked to do their assigned duties from May 22 to May 29.
