DHEKIAJULI: An extensive executive meeting of Sonitpur district AASU was held at the Swahid Bhavan, Dhekiajuli on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was explained by Manoj Das, general secretary, AASU, Sonitpur district unit. The meeting was presided over by Abhijit Nath, president of AASU, Sonitpur district unit. The meeting adopted several resolutions to restart the anti-CAA movement from September 11. The meeting unanimously resolved to start a motorcycle rally from Borsola to Jamuguri to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act on September 11. The meeting also discussed about the present educational system.
