A CORRESPONDENT
BATADROBA: Purneswar Brah, Head teacher of Lungamukh LP School under Kapili Education block of Morigaon, who retired from service on March 31, was given a warm farewell on Monday at a solemn programme held at Lungamukh LP School.
The farewell meeting was graced by Buli Gogoi Bhuyan, District Elementary Education Officer, Morigaon, Samar Baruah, Block Elementary Education officer, District Programme Officer of SSA, Lakhinandan Saikia and Rajen Goswami. The meeting was chaired by social activist Bhadreswar Senapati.
In the meeting, the academic staff of Lungamukh LP School, the students of the school, the School Management Committee and the people of the area honoured Purneswar Borah with citation, seleng sador and various mementoes, appreciating her sincere service to the academic sector from 1996 to 2021. On the other hand, officers and employees of Kapili block resource centre felicitated Purneswar Borah with japi, gamosa and letter of appreciation.
