UDALGURI: Nabin Malla Boro, the Vice-Principal of Udalguri Higher Secondary School, was given a farewell by the school authority and students. He had joined on January 6, 1981, in the school and was elevated to the post of Vice-Principal. The farewell meeting held at Udalguri HS School was chaired by Puspadhar Bastola, the Principal, and also attended by Nabin Deuri, the Inspector of Schools, Udalguri district circle. Boro is a literary genius and he was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Child Literature Award for his book Chitrakutni Frai Mount Abu. He has also conferred the State Teacher Award for excellence in teaching. Boro has written Molina Arw (novel), Gwsw Fanjarini Bibar (short story), Lwithw Rugung Somnath Dwarakani Bisombi (travelogue), Thunlai Maothi Bihuram Boro, Hajw Gudiao Jwngni Gami, Hadan and Borai Fagladiani Gwdan Dara.
