MORIGAON: A farmers' awareness camp on paddy procurement was organized by the Morigaon district administration and Food & Supply Department, Morigaon at Manaha. Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia inaugurated the awareness programme in presence of the Managing Director of Food & Civil Supply Diganta Das and Assistant Director of the Food & Supply Department, Morigaon-Bipul Ch. Talukdar, farmers and teachers. More than 100 farmers took part in the programme. The Deputy Commissioner explained to the farmers how they can procure paddy for getting a good price for their hard work.
