BOKO: A man named Nitai Boro filed an FIR against PHED contractor Alangir Hussain (36 years) from Ghilabari village under Mandira Police Outpost in Boko.
Nitai Boro alleged that he found his wife and the contractor in a compromising position. When Boro reacted immediately, Hussain allegedly beat him and broke his leg. According to the Boro, Alangir also tried to strangle him. He said that he shouted for help and the neighbours immediately came to the place but Alangir fled the scene.
On Tuesday, Boro filed an FIR against Hussain and said that the incident happened in the night hours near his house. He said that when Alangir absconded, he left his shirt, sandals, etc. and thus the people of the area identified him. Locals alleged that the area was very backward and Hussain had financial soundness and therefore did not shy away from immoral activities and terrorized the people of the area with money or intimidation.
In-Charge of the Mandira Police Outpost Bijoy Goswami said that they would investigate the matter and register a case against culprits who were involved in this incident. Boro said that he had suspected from before that Hussain had contacted his wife many times.
