Fourth COVID death reported in Demow

DEMOW: COVID claimed another life in Demow on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bhaben Boruah (65), a resident of Gohainpukhuri village.

According to sources, Bhaben Boruah, a resident of Gohainpukhuri village near Demow, tested positive in Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) in AMCH in Dibrugarh on April 24. According to sources, Bhaben Boruah was on home isolation. He succumbed to the infection on Thursday morning. This is the fourth COVID death in Demow.

On the other hand, Sidhigopal Gogoi (53), a resident of Bahuabari, Popy Gogoi (46), a resident of Konwar Dehingia, Gokul Beria (24), a resident of Santipur, and Manuwar Hussain (28), a resident of Demow, all tested positive in a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) in Demow BPHC on Thursday. All the four positive patients are under home isolation, said a health official.
