DEMOW: Under the patronage of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Demow regional committee, free summer classes were organized at Demow Higher Secondary School from July 1 which concluded on July 15. The closing ceremony of the programme was organized at Demow Higher Secondary School. Trolukya Gogoi, president of AJYCP, Demow regional committee, presided over the meeting and Jadumoni Aditya, general secretary of AJYCP, Demow regional committee, spoke about the aims of the meeting. The AJYCP, Demow regional committee leaders felicitated the invited persons and around 40 teachers of different schools with phulam gamosas, and mementos. The students who attended the classes were given certificates. In the closing programme, the students of Munmi Borah Sangeet School and the students who attended the free classes performed dances.
Dr Krishna Jyoti Handique, principal of Demow College, Bokul Dutta, principal of Demow Higher Secondary School, principals, vice-principals, teachers of different schools, Utpal Konwar, Publicity Secretary of AJYCP, central committee, Krishna Hazarika, Publicity Secretary of AJYCP, Sivasagar district committee, leaders of AJYCP’s sister organization Jatiya Mahila Parishad, and AJYCP Sivasagar district committee leaders were present.
