DEMOW: The celebration of the golden jubilee year 2022-23 of Demow Town High School was organized in the school auditorium with a day long programme. The programme began with a cleanliness drive, which was followed by flag hoisting by Bhim Dehingia, president of the Golden Jubilee organising committee. The smiti tarpan was offered by Nami Prasad Ghatowar, working president of organizing committee of golden jubilee. Founder teacher Mohammad Nurul Hussain laid the foundation stone. A green house was inaugurated by Rajen Borah, Director of Bhagya Lakshmi Sishu Kalyan Kendra, Bandarmari. The sapling-plantation programme was organized. A discussion session was held under the presidentship of Ajay Kumar Gogoi, Professor in Moran Women College.
