KALAIGAON: The All Udalguri District BTR Goriya-Moriya Deshi Students' Union has appealed the district administration to open the Kalaigaon Model Hospital for the relief of the general people who have been waiting for checks-ups and other medical needs at the hospital since the past few months.
The Kalaigaon Model Hospital was converted into COVID hospital and the hospital was closed for general patients in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, common people are facing problems in getting their health check-ups done as the hospital has been closed for a long time.
Consequently, the students' union submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri on Wednesday and urged him to ensure that the Kalaigaon Model Hospital starts functioning for general patients immediately.
