Guwahati: SBI Ladies Club, comprising wives of officers and senior executives of the State Bank of India, is engaged in doing various charitable events for the uplift and self-reliance of the needy people of the society. SBI Ladies Club, North East Circle, Guwahati organized its monthly meeting for the month of August on Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by the president of the SBI Ladies Club, Mrs. Veenu Tandon.
The “Hariyali Teej” festival was also celebrated by the SBI Ladies Club members. The venue was decorated according to the theme. Various activities and interesting competitions were conducted by members of the ladies club such as Mehendi competition, the tribal dance and bridal competition. Moreover, some fun-filled games were also organized by the members. At the end, gifts were also distributed by the President of the club, Veenu Tandon to its members, stated a press release.
