JAGIROAD: Health Minister Ashok Singhal on Tuesday inaugurated an operating room at the Nakhola Mahatma Gandhi Adarsh Hospital in Jagiroad. Opening the room, Minister Singhal said that women in the area will now be able to give birth through surgery at the hospital. He added that eight such hospitals in the state had made this facility available in the last two months. Minister Singhal was welcomed by Water Resources Minister and local MLA Pijush Hazarika. The programme was attended by Morigaon District Commissioner Anamika Tiwari, Morigaon District Joint Director of Health Department Dr Arun Nath, and many dignitaries.
