Baksa: In a striking statement, Dr. R.N. Sinha, Chief Advisor of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Educational Advisory Committee, predicted that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma could become the Prime Minister of India by the year 2033.

Dr. Sinha made the remark during the launch of a new educational initiative , the Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT)  at Salbari Higher Secondary School in Baksa district. The test is aimed at helping students understand their strengths and guiding them toward suitable career choices.

“This is the first time such a test has been introduced across BTR. It marks a progressive step in our educational framework,” said Dr. Sinha. “We are not just focusing on marks anymore but on the unique potential of every student.”

The DMIT test, based on fingerprint analysis, scientifically assesses the cognitive and intellectual abilities of students from Classes 5 to 12. It will help identify whether a student is naturally inclined towards fields like medicine, engineering, education, arts, or others.

More than 1,000 students from different schools took part in the launch event. Officials stated that this initiative will support parents in making informed decisions about their children’s education and careers.

Educators and parents have welcomed the move, calling it a timely step towards personalised learning and long-term academic planning. The BTR government has said the DMIT rollout is part of its broader plan to uplift education standards across the region.
