BONGAIGAON: Chirang district police recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition on Tuesday in a special operation launched at Khagrabari village under Runikhata PS of Chirang district. The operation was leaded by ASP, Chirang, along with CI Runikhata and IC Shantipur. During the operation, one factory-made (HK series) rifle with one magazine, one AK series rifle with two magazines, one Uzi type factory made fire arm having two magazines, two factory-made pistols with magazine, two Chinese hand grenades, 93 AK series live ammunition and 5.56 series ammunition (25) were recovered.
