JAGIROAD: The Nellie Police on Tuesday recovered a huge quantity of drugs from a Maruti Swift Dzire car (AS 01DN 6156). In this connection, the police arrested three persons- L Suresh Singh, L Insha Singh, and Chini Matek. The drug peddlers were later on produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Morigaon and sent to judicial custody. The international market value of the drugs seized is estimated to be more than Rs 1.5 crore. Police said that drugs were carried from the Myanmar border to Guwahati.
