MANGALDAI/KALAIGAON: Reinforcing the unique and enduring friendship between India and Bhutan, the Red Horns Gunners of Gajraj Corps, Indian Army, organised the Indo-Bhutan Friendship Quiz at Auxilium College, Udalguri, on August 7. The event brought together young minds from both nations in a celebration of knowledge, friendship, and shared values, reflecting the warmth and trust that have long characterised the India-Bhutan partnership.
Six school teams from Bhutan, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam took part, with the Bhutanese contingent travelling to Udalguri for the competition-underscoring the close educational and cultural ties between the two countries. More than 650 students, teachers, civil dignitaries, and military officials from India and Bhutan attended, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie.
The quiz tested participants on the shared history, culture, geography, and enduring relationship between India and Bhutan. Conducted by Col Vembu Shankar, SC (Retd), whose engaging style held the audience's attention throughout, the contest remained spirited until the final round.
