Kalaigaon State Veterinary Dispensary organized Animal Health Camp

KALAIGAON: The Kalaigaon State Veterinary Dispensary organized an animal health camp in the premises of Bhehguri Durga Mandir on Tuesday. On the occasion, an awareness meeting about Foot & Mouth disease (FMD) of animals was also held and this was presided over by Bisambar Das, chairman of Majarchuba Village Council Development Committee. Dr. Prafulla Kownar, Veterinary Officer of Kalaigaon State Veterinary Dispensary also spoke on the occasion. He spoke that the disease of cows like Foot & Mouth disease (FMD) is very dangerous and this disease gets transmitted very easily. So, the disease should be prevented with FMD vaccination. More than 100 villagers took part in this health camp with their cows.
