New Delhi: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Shri Tuliram Ronghang, submitted a memorandum to Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region DoNER,expressing heartfelt gratitude for the ministry’s continued support in the development of Karbi Anglong district in Assam.
In his meeting with the Union Minister, Shri Ronghang highlighted the positive impact of several DoNER-backed initiatives in the region, including improvements in infrastructure, connectivity, and public services.
He also conveyed the aspirations of the local people and the need for continued collaboration between the central government and the autonomous council for the holistic development of the region.
Minister Scindia assured the CEM of the central government’s commitment to ensuring balanced growth and inclusive development in all parts of the Northeast, with special attention to remote and tribal areas.
The memorandum marks an important step in further strengthening Centre-state coordination in Assam’s hill districts.
