Kokrajhar Police recovered AK-47 rifles and grenades

KOKRAJHAR: The Kokrajhar Police on Wednesday night recovered two AK-47 rifles and grenades from ride no 2 under Bishmuri Outpost in Kokrajhar district.

Talking to mediapersons, Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan said that based on specific input of concealment of arms and ammunition, the police team led by Additional SP Mukut Rabha carried out a search operation at ride no 2 under Bishmuri Outpost in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday. He said the team recovered two AK-47 rifles, two grenades, one magazine of AK-47 and 9 live ammunitions of 7.62 mm. Sources said that further investigation was going on.
