Joysagar: The Asom Sanskritik Mahasabha (ASM) will hold the North-East Cultural Festival-2019 from January 4 to January 6 in Sivasagar Boarding Field. The lai khuta was erected on Sunday and Xatradhikar of Ujjanial Xatra, Lakhikanta Mahanta Bapdev formally lit the lamp and also conducted the bhumi pujan in presence of Sivasagar ADC S. Gogoi and the central vice-president of ASM, Sankar P Das. Hundreds of local cultural groups and artistes were also present in the lai khuta erection function.
