MORIGAON: Morigaon district administration on Saturday ceremonially distributed land pattas to 40 families out of 292 families in the first phase in the district.
According to ADC Ajit Sarma, there are total 2,518 landless families in the district. The land pattas of the 2,518 families will be distributed phase-wise in the district. On Saturday, Morigaon district administration ceremonially distributed land pattas to 40 families at a function held at the District Library's auditorium hall in presence of Deputy Commissioner Leena Das, ADCs and COs.
