A CORRESPONDENT
DOOMDOOMA: The Economic Forum, a unit of the Economics Department of Doomdooma College, released the magazine and report of the Students' Research Project recently.
The programme started with a Goalporiya Lokgeet presented by Asleshwa Bhattacharjee, a student of the second semester. The president of the Economic Forum, Anjoo Konwar briefly explained the activities of the Forum. The first issue of the departmental annual magazine Protibimbo was released by Biren Konwar, former head of the department (HoD)-cum- member of the Forum, while Principal Dr Kamaleswar Kalita released its electronic version.
Bina Devi Bordoloi and Pranita Handique, both former heads of the Department of Economics and the members of the Forum also addressed the house on the occasion. The report of the Students' Research Project was released by the Principal Dr Kamaleswar Kalita. In his speech, he said that these activities were useful, especially for the students.
