A CORRESPONDENT
LAKHIMPUR: Former secretary (Administrative) of Dhakuakhana Block Mahila Congress-cum-president of Madhya Dhakuakhana Mandal Mahila Congress, Dipti Baruah Phukan joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday.
She joined the saffron party in a meeting held at the office of the Dhakuakhana district unit of BJP under the chairmanship of president Pradip Chamuah. Assam State BJP vice-president-cum-Dhakuakhana MLA Naba Kumar Doley and other dignitaries of the Dhakuakhana district unit BJP were present in the joining meeting.
