LAKHIMPUR: Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust has decided to confer the Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Award, 2022 on Manoranjan Brahma for his outstanding contributions in spreading the noble ideology of Gurudev.
GKBT announced the name of Manoranjan Brahma, the Chief Preacher of Sodou Brahma Dharma Samiti, for the prestigious award on Monday. Notably, a crucial general meeting of the Sodou Brahma Dharma Samiti was held on Monday at the Aaisara Community Hall under the chairmanship of president Dr. Ajit Boro.
The objective of the meeting was explained by general secretary Piyari Mohan Brahma. In the same meeting, GKBT, approved of Manoranjan Brahma after the jury had selected his name for the award. The award carries a citation, cash Rs 50,000, an edi swal and a portrait of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma. The award will be conferred on the winner by BTR Chief Pramod Boro in a ceremonial programme to be held in the auditorium of Bodoland University on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Gurudev Kali charan Brahma on April 18.
