JAMUGURIHAT: Minaram Hazarika (86), a resident of Karatipar in Jamugurihat and a retired employee of the Water Resources department breathed his last due to prolonged illness at his residence on Friday morning. Hazarika was closely associated with many organizations of the greater Jamugurihat area including the historic Barechahariya Bhaona Committee, Borpukhuripar Mukoli Bihu among others. He leaves behind his two sons along with a host of relatives. His demise was widely mourned here at Jamugurihat.
