JAMUGURIHAT: State Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika visited various ongoing construction sites of Jamugurihat on Tuesday.
He first visited the COVID vaccination centre of Bapuji Bhavan. Then he inspected the construction site of Chawkighat bridge over Jiya Bharali River and the ongoing construction of Jio Guide Dam by the side of the river. The minister, accompanied by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika, also visited agri farms of the self-help groups at Chowkighat. Notably, the government land of Chowkighat was illegally encroached upon by doubtful voters.
