A CORRESPONDENT
BARPETA: Noted music composer, artist and poet Sudhir Das of Barpeta Metuakuchi is no more. He breathed his last at the age of 82 at Bengaluru. During the last 2 years he had been in Bengaluru with his son and wife. On July 17 evening, his health condition deteriorated and he was admitted to the hospital and breathed his last there. Sudhir Das composed a great number of songs. He also played tabla with Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The people of Barpeta mourned his death. His last funeral was completed in Bengaluru.
