A CORRESPONDENT
DHEKIAJULI: Renowned teacher of Narengkati H S School, Prafulla Keot has been selected for the State and District Deed Teacher Award, 2020. The award will be conferred to Keot on Teachers' Day by the Education Department.
Prafulla Keot has been serving as subject teacher at Narengkati HS School for the last 28 years with honesty, sincerity and dedication. On being selected by the Director of Higher Education, Assam, Prafulla Keot was excited and expressed gratitude to the department concerned.
Prafulla Keot completed his Masters' degree from Gauhati University in Zoology and began his career at Darrang College. In 1993, he joined Narengkati HS School as a Zoology teacher. Apart from teaching, he is actively associated with different socio-economic organizations. He has also written several books like Axomi, Atma Smriti Kotha and Narengkatir Diary, among others.
