GOALPARA: The District Information and Public Relation office (DIPRO), with the help of Goalpara district administration, on Tuesday observed the National Press Day at the conference hall of the district journalists' association. Presided over by Manas Das, ADC, the event was participated by the journalists from all over the district. Speaking from the chair, Das said, "It is not an easy task to maintain journalistic ethics. There are absolute professional hazards. But we will have to overcome them and continue rendering service to society. Professional hazards can't stop the journey of journalism." Das also congratulated the media persons on this auspicious day. Earlier, Naresh Das Kalita, pensioner journalist, also spoke on the occasion.
