GOLAGHAT: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika on Wednesday, a national-level webinar was held at Hemo Prova Borborah Girls' College, Golaghat.
The webinar was organized by the Cultural Cell and Students' Union of the college. The webinar on the topic 'Folklife and Folklore in the songs of Dr Bhupen Hazarika' was inaugurated by the Principal of HPB Girls' College, Dr Bipul Chandra Bhuyan. Well known folk artist and researcher Loknath Goswami attended the webinar as chief speaker. Dr. Palash Handique, Coordinator IQAC, delivered the welcome speech.
