Nazira College holds dictation, spelling contest for Independence Day

Nazira College held a dictation & spelling contest on Aug 12 for Independence Day, showcasing students’ linguistic skills and patriotism.

NAZIRA: As part of the Independence Day celebrations, Nazira College hosted a dictation and spelling competition on August 12, organized by the Nazira co-district administration. This event brought together students from various schools, providing a platform for them to showcase their linguistic skills and patriotism.

The competition was held in two categories, allowing students of different age groups to participate. Esteemed judges from local schools were invited to evaluate the performances of the students. Rashmi Rekha Khaund from Nazira Higher Secondary School, Yogada Mahanta and Julie Koch from Chakimukh Higher Secondary School, and Mitali Goswami from Bauli Maidam High School brought their expertise and experience to the judging panel. Swaraj Academy’s Principal, Asomi Gogoi, helped the organizer to conduct the competition smoothly.
