MORIGAON: A newly-constructed Anganwadi centre (AWC) was inaugurated by MLA Ramakanta Deuri at Khukanagug, Lalungaon under Bhurbandha ICDS on Monday. With an aim to facilitate early education of children between 3 to 6 years, the district administration, supported by the District Social Welfare Office (DSWO), constructed the AWC at Lalungaon. As part of celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah, a nutri garden was also set up in the AWC campus in order to promote nutritious food which are essential for children's growth. Deputy Commissioner Leena Das also inaugurated a nutritious food mela prepared by the Anganwadi workers (AWWs) in the centre.
