Novel 'Bijuwa' released at Udalguri

A translated novel entitled ‘Bijuwa’ into Assamese was released at Udalguri at a function.

UDALGURI: A translated novel entitled 'Bijuwa' into Assamese was released at Udalguri at a function. Hareswar Kalita, the president of Udalguri Jila Sahitya Sabha released the book and termed this translation as very important to Assamese literature. The book was authored by Basu Sarma, a writer from London and Arpana Hazarika Kalita translated the book from Hindi. 'Bijuwa' is a term which is used to single out those traditional medicos who earned the special herbal medicine from Sokpa (humans who lived in Jungles).
