Senior citizen of Jagiroad, Jiban Chandra Das died on June 5 in Guwahati. He was 95 and leaves behind a son, three daughters and a host of relatives. He was a former employee of North East Frontier Railway. He was a resident of Jagiroad,near Jagiroad College. He was associated with many social organizations of Jagiroad. His death has been deeply mourned.
