Manoram Nath (93), a retired teacher of Sootea Normal School, Sootea, breathed his last on October 8 in a private hospital at Tezpur due to old-age ailments. Nath was a prominent artist and a social worker of the greater Sootea area. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives. His demise was widely mourned.
