Former ATTSA central assistant secretary and the head clerk in the office of Biswanath Revenue Circle, Biswanath Chariali, and Mohan Munda passed away on Sunday after a protracted illness. He was 59. A resident of Nalanibari, Halem, Munda was also the founder secretary of the student body's Chaiduar branch and played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization in Gohpur area.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a son. Munda's demise was mourned by several organizations, including Biswanath district ATTSA.
