DEMOW: A youth named Sankar Bhumij was allegedly murdered by an unidentified miscreant in 2 No Masoi Gaon near Demow on Wednesday night.
According to sources, Sankar Bhumij was attacked by an unidentified miscreant on the neck and after the incident, Sankar Bhumij tried to tell his mother the name of the person who had attacked him but he died before being able to do so. After the Demow Police investigated the incident, the police apprehended Shibu Bhumij, who is Sankar Bhumij's brother. Shibu Bhumij was sent to jail. The murder allegedly took place due to a family clash.
