DEMOW: A person died on the spot during a road accident that took place at Kenduguri in Demow Nitai Road on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Prafulla Dutta, a resident of Sukanpukhuri near Demow. According to sources, Dutta was hit by a Hyundai i-10 car (AS 12 H 1797) while he was coming on a bicycle from his residence to Demow. The car was travelling from Nitaipukhuri side at a high speed, said sources. Following the accident, driver of the Hyundai i-10 car went to Demow Police Station.
